Funded by Sask Lotteries, SPRA is a non-profit, dedicated to connecting, educating and inspiring parks and recreation providers to create parks and recreation spaces for the benefit of everyone.

Our Strategic Plan

Our 2019 - 2024 Strategic Plan strengthens our commitment to grow Active and Engaged Communities, foster Sector Capacity, and provide strong Leadership.

The Strategic Plan reflects the Goals and Priorities of the Framework for Recreation in Canada, which is the national guide for the continued advancement of recreation. 

Investing in Recreation with Sask Lotteries

Along with our Partners, Sask Sport and SaskCulture, we have signed a Lottery License Agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan. Through this agreement, proceeds from Sask Lotteries are dedicated to sport, culture and recreation organizations to benefits communities throughout the province.
