The Town of La Ronge is a scenic lake side community offering a full range of services and amenities

The Town is seeking two (2) enthusiastic individuals to perform the duties of an operator within the Parks
and Recreation department. Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Lead Hand, this position will be
responsible for general labour, maintenance, operation and repair activities on all Town of La Ronge
parks, open spaces and recreation facilities, assists with the set-up and clean-up of special functions,
and performs daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment and facilities, as well as performs
other related duties as required. As a condition of employment, the individuals are expected to work in
a variety of weather conditions and be physically able to perform strenuous work. Employment will be
38.75 hours/week and candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends if/when required.
This position is tentatively scheduled to conclude August 31, 2024.
The successful candidates must possess Standard First Aid training and have a valid Saskatchewan
Class 5 driver’s license. Prior knowledge or experience in arena and/or park maintenance would be
considered an asset.

Please note that the Town of La Ronge practices global reference checks, and the successful candidate
must submit to a criminal record check. The 2024 approved hourly wage range for this position is $20.00.
