The Town of Rosthern is looking for an energetic and responsible individual to help run activities for the Rosthern Summer Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of all program activities and will report directly to the Summer Program Co-ordinator.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Experience working in a camp, or instructor setting considered an asset.
  • Mature, good with children and youth.
  • Must have current First Aid/CPR.
  • Successful candidate must provide criminal record and vulnerable sector check.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly responsible to Summer Program Coordinator.
  • Help co-ordinate activities for children and youth in the community.
  • Lead and instruct sports, crafts & other activities.
  • Encourage active participation and positive relationship building between participants.
  • Provide supervision and support for children ages 5-12 years during activity times.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Summer Program Co-Ordinator
