The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is seeking a detail oriented, motivated and energetic individual to fill the full-time permanent position of Administrative Assistant. SPRA is a network of recreation leaders dedicated to energizing our province and changing lives, empowered through funding from Saskatchewan Lotteries.

As a key member of the Finance and Administration Team, this position is a front-line support position with primary responsibilities associated with the areas of planning, reporting, customer service, office and administrative functions of the organization.

Who is Our Ideal Candidate? 
An individual who has:

  •  A diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. 
  • A minimum of two years of relevant/related experience. 
  • A keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational, time management, and both written and verbal communications skills.
  • A passion and belief in the benefits of recreation and parks.
  • An interest in helping others succeed.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills. 
  • An above average proficiency using Microsoft Office - including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive. Experience with Sage Accounting and database software would be considered an asset.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team and contribute to an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
