Facilities are the backbone of recreation in any community. They play an integral part in how the community recreates and socializes, and need to be maintained to ensure they are safe and last for the long-term.
We offer many courses to help with the management of facilities and the all other areas where recreation takes place. We also offer courses that teach how to work safely and effectively as a team.

Building Maintenance (Levels 1 and 2)
Want to take a deep look into the operations of your buildings? These are the courses you need! Level 1 focuses on how to properly maintain your building within your communityLevel 2 focuses on the operations of your building, and the specific anatomy of your facilities, such as HVAC systems, electrical and more.
Arena Operator (Levels 1 and 2)
If you want to learn how to install ice in an arena, the Arena Operator Level 1 course is for you. This 2-day course covers ice installation and maintenance. Arena Operator Level 2 deals with the arena refrigeration system. This 4.5-day course focuses on the main components of the modern refrigeration system. Level 2 will prepare you to take the provincial Refrigeration Operator exam, offered by TSASK.
Ball Diamond and Sportsfield Maintenance
Don’t let your ball diamonds be a swing, and a miss. Take the Ball Diamond and Sportsfield Maintenance course and you will ensure your fields are in tip top shape. This 1-day course teaches the science behind and best practices on managing your outdoor fields.
Facility Management Modules
Operating these facilities can prove challenging. This is why we offer 3 Facility Management modules to assist employees, supervisors and managers to effectively lead staff.
- Module 1 – Health and Safety

- Helps coach people with best practices to effectively lead your team.
