JOB OBJECTIVE
Under the direction of the Recreation Facilities Manager &/or Community Development Director, this person is responsible for the beautification duties for the Town of Outlook Community Development department. This is a full-time seasonal position.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Satisfactory Criminal Check and Driver’s Abstract
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform work that includes light to moderate lifting
- Excellent time management
- Knowledge of flowers and their required maintenance is considered an asset
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow and perform instructions given by the Recreation Facility Manager &/or Community Development Director
- Report any concerns & requirements for equipment repair to the Recreation Facility Manger
- Must be available for shift work (day, evening and weekend)
- Operate and maintain equipment
- General Landscaping Duties/Greens Space Maintenance
- Participate in Communities in Bloom Beautification Program
