Location: Town of Tisdale – RECplex Aquatic Centre
Position Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the Pool Manager, the Recreation Practitioner and the Director of Recreation & Parks.
• Provide the public with information and direction pertaining the RECplex Aquatic Centre programs.
• Accept and accurately record program registrations, withdrawals, swim attendance and swim admissions.
• Process all revenue generated within the facility and prepare cash reports with organized records.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining of the facility, completing daily cleaning duties.
• To be familiar with the facility’s emergency procedures and assist as directed by the Pool Manager.
• To work in cooperation with instructors and the Pool Manager by organizing lesson sheets, report cards.
• To maintain a sufficient stock of all confectionary items and to order or pick up more supplies as needed.
• To actively participate and attend in-service training sessions.
• Keep a record of inventory of the first aid kit and ensure it is well stocked, replace items as necessary.
• Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, to fulfill program requirements.
• Perform additional duties and provide additional support as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/skills include:
It is expected that ALL applicants will include copies of all current certifications and awards when they apply.
• Ability to operate a cash register
• Possess good customer service skills
• Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C is an asset
• Young Workers Readiness Course (if applicable)
Additional Information:
• Job Status – Seasonal Temporary Part Time (May-August 2026).
• Wage Range – $17.17 - 18.48/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
