ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Martensville Recreation Centre, operated by Nustadia Recreation are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Facility Attendant to join our team. This position is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility while supporting daily operations.
We’re looking for someone with strong operational skills and a proactive approach to customer service who can assist with general facility maintenance and support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and enforce Nustadia’s Best Practices and Policies.
• Liaise with tenants, facility users, and the public regarding operational and facility concerns.
• Perform custodial duties throughout the entire facility, including arena, fieldhouse, and common areas.
• Assist Facility Operators during ice resurfacing and other operational tasks.
• Complete minor repairs to facility and equipment (carpentry, plumbing, etc.).
• Ensure all entrances and exits are safe, clear of debris and snow, and that the facility is tidy at all times.
• Work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with setup and teardown for special events and facility rentals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the facility’s needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
• WHMIS Certification (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR AED Certification (preferred).
• Experience with cleaning and maintaining recreation facilities preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
