The University of Saskatchewan has developed a twin pad ice arena that includes a 2,700 seat arena, a double gymnasium, community arena, varsity team dressing rooms multi-purpose space and concession. Opened in 2018, the arena is a focal point of the University and the community and will continue to be so for many years to come.

To ensure the success of the Facility, Nustadia Recreation Inc. (NRI), the building operator, is looking for a motivated team member with proven operational and administration experience, preferably in a recreation facility environment to serve as the Administration Manager. This individual will be experienced in communication with multiple stakeholders, enthusiastic and able to represent NRI with professionalism and a community-minded focus.
The Administrative Manager is responsible for:

• Managing the programming aspect of the facility in conjunction with the General Manager
• Co-ordinating all administrative duties required to run the office effectively
• Managing day to day accounting, invoicing, cash management, and internal reporting.
• Assisting with human resource management of all employees
• Month end float counts and ongoing deposits
• Processing payroll
• Being a liaison with customers: minor and adult hockey leagues, varsity programs , individual renters etc
• Assisting with planning of tournaments and special events
• Supervising and managing of Guest Services staff which includes recruitment and training
• Maintaining and upkeeping of website, social media and telephone system
• Addressing the needs of the public and providing excellent customer service
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Minimum Job Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent education and experience (2-5 years).
