REPORTS TO: Pool Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons and assisting the manager in the
seamless operation of the pool.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check (Ages 18+)
- A valid National Lifesaving Award (NLA) Certificate issued by The Life Saving Society of Canada
- A current St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid Certificate and CPR C, Red Cross Standard First Aid
- Certificate and CPR C or Life Saving Society Aquatic Emergency Care Certificate

- Work evening and weekend shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring the safety of all patrons
- Follow all procedures as set out in the Swimming Pool Manual
- Maintain an accurate Log Book
- Follow proper safety procedures when working with pool chemicals
- Assist in the completion of daily maintenance of pool and pool area as required
- Assist in the operation and balancing of the chemicals in the swimming pool as outlined in the pool operations and aquatic care handbook
