THE ROLE
As an Arena Attendant with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, you will be part of a team proud to provide safe, quality arena facilities to members of the Canadian Armed Forces community. You will take satisfaction seeing them at play and enjoying the facilities.

Daily, you will ensure the ice rink is maintained, dressing rooms are ready and equipment is organized and in proper working order. You will greet visitors, manage access to the facility and answer customer inquiries. You will patrol the facility to ensure
rules and regulations are being followed and equipment and facilities are safe for all those that visit.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
  • Education, Certifications and Licenses
  • High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field.
  • (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience)
  • Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications

Experience
  • In ice rink maintenance
  • In operating ice rink equipment
  • In providing customer service

Competencies
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and;
  • Leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
  • English Essential
  • Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION
Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of 29 September 2025 and end date of 06 July 2026.

Hiring multiple candidates. One position is a Part-time (13.75 to 27.5 hrs/week) temporary position and the other is a casual (zero to 13.5 hrs/week) position. Please clearly indicate on your cover letter/resume if you are only interested in a particular position or either.

START DATE: Sept 29, 2025

SALARY: 18.70 - CAD Per Hour
