Welcoming Jessica Adelman to SPRA!

Welcome to Summer Employee, Jessica Adelman!

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Adelman, and I am joining the SPRA Team this summer as Youth Leadership and Parks Assistant. This fall I will return to my third year at the University of Saskatchewan as a Regional and Urban Planning major in the Department of Geography.

One area that particularly interests me is active transportation within cities and how that connects to sustainable development within communities. A fun fact about me is I just got back from Amsterdam where I studied Urban Design and Active Transportation! It was an incredible experience where I learned so much about how cities can be designed to prioritize cycling infrastructure, walkability, public transit, and public spaces to create connected communities.

Outside of school I enjoy going on walks with my two dogs, reading, writing, and spending time with my amazing friends and family. I am super excited to be part of the SPRA Team and look forward to getting to know everyone!
