Welcome Jaret Dezotell to the SPRA Team!

Hello, my name is Jaret Dezotell, and I am excited to join SPRA as Grants Administrator. I completed a diploma in Recreation and Tourism Management through SIAST and hold a Kinesiology degree from the University of Regina with a major in Sport and Recreation Management.

I have spent the past 13 years working with several different organizations, including the Prairie Central District for Sport, Culture and Recreation, the City of Regina Community Services Department, and Special Olympics Saskatchewan (SOS). In my most recent role with SOS, I was the Director of Community, Programs, and Health, where I worked closely with volunteers and local community boards. I also bring extensive experience in grant adjudication and administration through my previous roles in the sport and recreation industry. In addition, I served as a volunteer adjudicator for the Community Initiatives Fund for the South Region.

When I am not at work, I enjoy playing and watching sports, as well as spending time with my wife, Chrisy, and our two daughters, Everly and Harper.

I am very excited to be part of the SPRA team and look forward to working with organizations and communities to increase access to funding through SPRA grants and funding initiatives.
