Hello, my name is Candace Toppings, I am excited to be joining SPRA as the Business Operations Assistant. I have a diploma in Global Tourism and Marketing from Medicine Hat College as well as a Business Certificate from Saskatchewan Polytechnic (SIAST at the time!).
I have lived and worked in Regina for the last 14 years! How time files! My career began as a Travel Consultant for Marlin Travel and eventually found my way into accounting supporting agents across Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. In 2020, I moved to Viterra as an Accountant and learned a little about the grain industry. In late 2022, I stepped into the Construction and Property Management world at Avana as a Bookkeeper and eventually Accountant. My experience in accounting and business led me here, and I am excited to be a part of an organization that does meaningful work across the province!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and travelling. I also dabble in some artistic woodworking on the side and enjoy making project kits for others to tap into their creative side!
