We’ve been absolutely thrilled to host Melissa Bang this summer as our Youth Engagement and Parks Assistant! Melissa played a key role in the successful delivery of Communities in Bloom, Take the Lead!, Play Leadership, and so much more.
In asking Melissa about the most impactful part of her summer, she shared:
“I was grateful for the opportunity to attend and contribute to conferences, events, and tradeshows where I met inspiring people in this industry. Hearing how they became involved in parks and recreation, and why they chose to stay, left a lasting impression that will guide me as I move forward in my career.”
