We’ve been so fortunate to have Jessica Adelman join the SPRA team this summer as our Youth Leadership & Parks Assistant.
During her time with us, Jessica made valuable contributions to several of our programs and services, including Communities in Bloom, Take the Lead! and Play Leadership. She jumped into every opportunity with enthusiasm and brought such positive energy to everything she did.
A few summer highlights included serving as a Judge for Communities in Bloom, facilitating Take the Lead! Youth Leader training in Regina, attending a Saskatchewan Square and Round Dance event, and taking part in the SPRA Spring Symposium. It was wonderful to see her get involved, connect with people across the industry, and experience so many different aspects of recreation and parks.
Having Jessica on the SPRA team was such a pleasure. Her friendly, enthusiastic demeanor shone through in her work and in the way she connected with SPRA staff, volunteers and others in the industry.
Jessica, we wish you all the best as you continue your Regional and Urban Planning degree at the University of Saskatchewan! We can’t wait to see where your career takes you and the impact you’ll have on recreation, parks and community design across Saskatchewan.
