The Fall Training Symposium is a four-day event focused on training, education, and collaboration!
Join us at Affinity Place in Estevan, SK. from September 8-11, 2025 as we offer a variety of in-person courses intended to enhance the skills of front-line facility operators, volunteers, and supervisors.

Arena Operator Level 1 - Short Course (Sept. 8) ALL DAY
- Ball Diamond & Sportsfield Maintenance (Sept. 8) ALL DAY
- Basic Chainsaw Operator (Sept. 9) ALL DAY
- Building Maintenance Level 1 (Sept. 8-9) ALL DAY
- Facilities Management Module 1: Health & Safety in Recreation (Sept. 9) ALL DAY
- Facilities Management Module 2: HR & Leadership (Sept. 11) ALL DAY
- Facilities Management Module 3: Asset Management (Sept. 10) ALL DAY
- Fruit Trees & Production (Sept. 10; Times: 8:30 am -12 pm) HALF DAY
- Janitorial Services in Rec Facilities (Sept. 10) ALL DAY
- Shelter Belts & Wind Breaks (Sept. 10; Times: 1 pm - 4:30 pm) HALF DAY
- Tips & Tricks: Building Community Trails (Sept. 11) ALL DAY
- Trees & Shrubs: Basic Needs, Construction Plan/Tree Preservation (Sept. 11) ALL DAY

Networking and Connecting
The Fall Training Symposium is the perfect time to network!
Group luncheons will be offered throughout the event to allow participants plenty of opportunities to meet, network, and connect with other facilities personnel from all areas of the province.
Luncheons will take place Monday through Thursday – cost is covered in the event registration fees.
