This year, the Keynote Address of the 2013 SPRA Conference and Annual General Meeting will be presented by Olympic athlete Silken Laumann, who won the bronze medal for Canada in 1992.
Silken's story is one of courage and inspiration for any athlete, as she recovered from a devastatong rowing accident only 10 weeks before winning at the Olympics. She has since gone on to become President of her own company; a best-selling author; member of member of the International Board of Directors for Right To Play; Kid’s Champion for GoodLife Kids Foundation; and contributor to The Huffington Post and Motivated Magazine.
