Parks Week Spotlight: Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association

Today's Parks Week Spotlight showcases the Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association, one of our Provincial Recreation Association members.

The Regional Park system is unique to Saskatchewan. There are 98 regional parks across the province, spanning over 24,253 acres. These parks are places for camping, recreation, connecting with nature and of course, creating lasting memories with your friends and family.

Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association is one of 34 Provincial Recreation Associations that receives funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation

Here's what Katrina Irving, Executive Director of Saskatchewan Regional Parks, has to say about the impact of Saskatchewan Lotteries on their work:

Lottery funding helps our parks stay up-to-date with modern regulations and safety standards and undertake maintenance and construction projects to keep our parks safe and welcoming.

Their work helps develop, maintain and promote a strong network of regional parks that have your comfort, safety and experience in mind.

Make visiting a regional park part of your summer bucket list!
