Farewell to Daniel Longman

SPRA wishes a fond farewell to Daniel Longman, SPRA Field Consultant, who celebrated five years with us in 2020.

SPRA is sad to be saying farewell and best wishes to Daniel Longman, SPRA Field Consultant, whose experience, perspective, knowledge and talent, over the past 5 ½ years, have been second to none.

Daniel was raised on the George Gordon First Nation, where he enjoyed attending local cultural activities and taking part in sports such as judo and softball. Daniel’s favourite recreational activities are Pow Wows, and enjoys camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, travelling and reading good books.

Daniel’s peers have really enjoyed working with him, and had a few messages to share:

  • Daniel may seem quiet at first but he’s got this insightful perspective and view of situations that are appreciated. While that sounds pretty serious, he balances that with sense of wit that can definitely put a smile on your face.
  • Daniel is a talented man that is very knowledgeable in many different things and is always willing to share about his Indigenous culture.

We can’t THANK Daniel enough for his contributions and dedication to SPRA and the SPRA Membership, and we wish him all the best in the future!
