Who is SPRA?
SPRA is a non-profit volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote, develop and facilitate parks and recreation opportunities throughout the province. We are recognized as the provincial umbrella organization representing parks and recreation in Saskatchewan and manage the Recreation Section of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation.
When you join SPRA you become an Active member of the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Infrastructure representing over 400 communities and partners province wide. SPRA provides a provincial voice allowing its members to promote and facilitate parks, recreation and leisure opportunities throughout Saskatchewan. SPRA is committed to representing not only its members but also the citizens of the province as a whole.

Proceeds from Saskatchewan Lotteries ticket sales go into the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation and are in return invested into more than 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups throughout Saskatchewan. SPRA is the Trustee for the Recreation Section of the Trust.
