Regional Recreation Practitioner Programmer

The Town of Tisdale is seeking to employ an individual whose primary duties would focus on strategizing, developing, coordinating, implementing and supervising recreation programs and activities.  This individual would also have involvement in duties related to facility operations and management, provide support and enhancement to current programs and be available as a liaison to community groups and organizations.  

This individual should be goal-orientated, energetic, creative and possess strong leadership or “champion” traits.  Applicants should also be a strong advocate of recreation activities, sport, inclusion, community involvement, physical fitness, natural environments and can effectively connect and communicate with people from all demographics.  Priority selection may be given to applicants who have been trained and certified in the Recreation sector.   

This individual will be under the general supervision of the Director of Recreation and Parks.  

2 year contract position (with possible extension)
Annual Salary - $40,000 plus benefits
Start date – June 19, 2023
