The City of Regina has an exciting opportunity for someone with a disability who has a passion for recreation! We are looking for an experienced recreational programmer with lived experience of disability who wants to have a meaningful impact on our community. Although listed as full-time, the work and schedule can be flexible to accommodate individual accessibility needs.

All Regina residents should have access to recreation and leisure, as well as agency in choosing programs or services that best support their physical, mental, and emotional health. This position supports the implementation of the City’s Adapted Recreation Plan, helping to remove barriers to recreation and leisure for people with disabilities. The Program Specialist – Adaptive Services leads the development and provision of a variety of recreation and leisure programs and services designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. The position reports to the Coordinator, Community & Inclusion Recreation Programs and works closely with the Inclusive Recreation Advisor to minimize barriers to recreation and leisure for Regina residents.

The successful candidate must have lived experience of disability.
