The City of Meadow is accepting applications for the full time permanent position of Parks and Recreation Manager.
Reporting to the City Manager, this position provides leadership and oversight to the Parks and Recreation Department and all recreation facilities. A primary goal of this position will be to promote recreation and make Meadow Lake a more healthy and active community. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: facilitating community recreation opportunities; coordinating meetings of the Recreation Board; creating and managing the department's operating and capital budgets; and reviewing, implementing, and recommending changes to the department's operating policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated effective leadership, management and interpersonal skills; the ability to envision, develop and implement new ideas; creative problem solving; the ability to communicate effectively with staff, community groups and the public; and provide exceptional customer service. The following are the qualifications of the position:
A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check are required for this position.
