The City of Meadow Lake is accepting applications for the full time permanent position of Aquatic Centre Management.
Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Manager (to the City Manager in the interim), the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
The successful candidate will have demonstrated effective leadership, management and interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize and organize work assignments for the department; provide effective supervision; delegate authority and responsibility; provide exceptional customer service and schedule programs on a short and long term basis. The following are the qualifications of the position:
Minimum Grade 12
Minimum 2 years leadership experience, preferably in a similar environment
A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check are required for this position
The following certifications are considered an asset, and the successful applicant will be required to obtain them within two years:
National Lifeguard Service
Life Saving Instructor
Pool Operator I
