The Town of La Ronge Community Services Department is seeking an individual to assist in the planning, development, promotion, and implementation of a variety of community-based sport, culture and recreational programs, activities and special events for all ages for the community. Reporting to the Manager of Community Services, the successful candidate will be required to administer facility agreements and rentals as well as maintain a positive relationship with a variety of community groups, clubs, organizations, partners and municipal partners.

The position requires a creative, energetic, innovative thinker, who has excellent interpersonal and public relations skills and willing to work evenings, weekends and irregular hours.
 

Qualifications for this position include: valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver’s license, first aid and CPR training, and basic office software experience. A diploma or degree in recreation, leisure or physical education and a minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar setting, or combination thereof, is desired. The Town of La Ronge offers a comprehensive benefit package. The 2023 approved hourly wage range for this position is $28.28-$31.48 and is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
