Employment Opportunity: Arena Operator - Temporary/Casual (October-April)
Arena Operator Duties:
The Town of Gravelbourg seeks individual(s) to handle the day-to-day operations of La Palestre arena. The employee must be capable of working with minimal supervision. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of public use of the facility, ice maintenance, operation of a Zamboni, building checks, janitorial and building maintenance, and all other duties assigned.
The employee will report directly to the Manager of Sports, Culture & Recreation.
The following qualifications are an asset, but not required:
- 18 years of age
- Arena Operator Level 1 or 2
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Standard First Aid or equivalent
- WHIMIS
