The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is seeking a motivated and energetic youth (between the ages of 18 and 30) to fill the 16 week term position for the Summer Program Development Assistant. SPRA is a network of recreation leaders dedicated to energizing our province and changing lives, empowered through funding from Saskatchewan Lotteries.
This term position provides assistance to meeting the strategic direction for the Parks and Open Spaces portfolio. The successful candidate will provide assistance in the delivery and management of initiatives specific to the Parks and Open Spaces portfolio, which SPRA administers. This includes, but is not limited to, the following programs:
Post-Secondary Education or Experience in the Fields of:
Recreation, Tourism, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, Biology or equivalent - with working knowledge of the recreation/parks delivery system. Experience in program development and/or administration is an asset.
