Welcome Francisco – Our Summer Fieldwork Student!

Please join SPRA in welcoming Francisco Trigoso to SPRA for the summer.



Francisco is completing a four-month University of Regina Fieldwork Placement with SPRA and receiving mentorship and support before he starts working within the industry in 2024! 

“Hey everyone! I am very excited to work with the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) during the spring/summer semesters as a Fieldwork Student. I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a diploma in Business at the University of Regina. I am more than happy to work and learn more about recreation and parks in our community and province and to understand all the aspects that are involved in the delivery of this service. 

When I am not working or studying, I love to participate in many activities such as soccer, running or regular workouts, and I can also be found playing with my 80’s hard rock band in many venues in the area. Since I moved to Canada, I’ve been dedicated to improving my personal and professional growth and that is why I’m very happy to be part of SPRA during this time.”
