With summer finally here, now is the time to start planning for fall and having your staff trained and ready to go for the upcoming rink season.
The Arena Operators Level 1 Course is designed and taught to give the participants a hand on learning perspective on ice installation, ice maintenance, air quality, energy efficiency, and ice resurfacer operation. The participant will learn proper techniques, safety and best practices involved with the ice installation and maintenance.
The Arena Operators Level 2 course will provide the essential refrigeration theory to give participants an overview of modern industrial refrigeration systems and is composed of four modules. As a certified component of the Western Facility Operator Master Certification Program, participants can test their knowledge and receive their Arena Operators Level 2 Certificate. Participants of the course also have the opportunity to write the Refrigeration Operators Exam to obtain a provincial license that is required by the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan to operator a refrigeration plant 100 tonne and under.
