Your facility is invited to take part in a survey on food promotion in recreation facilities in Canada. This project is funded by Health Canada and is a collaboration of Public Health Ontario, the Universities of Alberta, Calgary, Saskatchewan, and Toronto, and Dalhousie University.
The purpose of this survey is to explore the extent, type, source, and value of food promotion within recreation facilities. The survey is expected to take approximately 20-30 minutes, plus potentially additional time to seek out unknown answers.
Your facility’s contribution to the survey will help contribute to valuable knowledge regarding food promotion at recreation facilities. The data collected will help recreation facilities, practitioners, and policy-makers understand the state of food promotion in recreation facilities and may help inform programs and policies for healthier environments for children in recreation facilities across Canada.
In fewer than 5 minutes, you can confirm your facility’s eligibility for the survey by clicking on the link https://surveys.publichealthontario.ca/SE/1/M2Keligibility/ before February 10, 2020.
If you are eligible and your facility agrees to participate, we will email you the survey and you will receive $50 e-transfer. We understand that your ability to complete the survey may be impacted by COVID-19. If needed, you may decline for COVID-19 reasons.
