The File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council (FHQTC) supports holistic development and sport, culture, recreation.

The FHQTC Sports, Culture and Recreation symposium is designed to inform the FHQ First Nations’ of services that are available and to assist in offering an understanding of where to begin with developing programs and services.

With the anticipated success of our symposium, it will assist in delivering the knowledge to access the programs and services that are offered, leveraging resources for recreation through linkages and partnerships. Increasing potential participant knowledge and awareness of the benefits of sports, culture and recreation programs and what is available to them.

The date of the symposium will be on April 6th, and April 7th, 2017. The location will be at the Treaty Four Governance Centre in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.

The symposium will be offered at no cost to FHQTC community sports and recreation committee members, with a maximum of 10 attending. Those that are not from FHQ tribal council will be charged $200 per participant. The registration fees’ for the symposium include all sessions, as well as the meals.
