The Future of Recreation Education in Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) has received a number of calls from its members and interested individuals and groups, voicing concern regarding SIAST’s plan to cut the capacity of the Recreation and Tourism Management Program in half and requesting action.

As a result, SPRA, in collaboration with its partners and interested stakeholders, has developed a Tool Kit to Advocate for the Future of Recreation Education in Saskatchewan.  The Tool Kit will assist SPRA members, Recreation and Tourism students, communities, and interested individuals and groups to advocate on for the continued education of recreation professionals in the Province and ultimately, the future of recreation.
