In 2012, Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers of Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation,  endorsed the following Multi-Sectoral Framework for Action on the After-School Time Period, which identifies specific shared areas for action and opportunities for collaboration across the sectors to increase physical activity and reduce sedentary activities or other unhealthy behaviours in the after school hours.

After-School Time Period Inventory Report (January 2013) - Includes the findings and analysis of a survey on the After-School Time Period.  SPRA is focused on supporting ASTP programs that fall within our mandate, and has analyzed the survey responses to specifically identify trends and gaps within the sector, with potential areas for further support.

As a supplement to the ASTP Inventory Report, SPRA has analyzed the data gathered from program providers as part of the provincial survey and prepared reports which summarise trends and gaps relative to the nine Sport, Culture and Recreation Districts in the province. These reports can be searched for and downloaded in our Resource Centre
